Michelle Jorden, a founding partner, has been representing clients in judicial and business proceedings since 2005.
An experienced employment attorney, Ms. Jorden’s expertise includes public agency and employment litigation and consultation, as well as general liability, personal injury defense, employee discipline and termination, wage and hour issues, disability accommodation protocols, family and medical leave issues, and investigations of harassment and other misconduct.
Ms. Jorden litigates in both state and federal court, as well as in administrative law settings.
Ms. Jorden graduated from the University of California, San Diego in 2001 with a B.A. in Political Science and received her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2005. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she interned at the White House in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Jorden is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice law in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
Ms. Jorden is member of the Board of Directors of the Fallbrook Land Conservancy and served as President of the Golden Retriever Club of San Diego County from 2017 - 2023. She is also the National Specialty Ways & Means Chairperson for the Golden Retriever Club of America.

Alexandra Buechner, a founding partner of Jorden Buechner & Serranzana, began her legal career almost 20 years ago.
Ms. Buechner has handled hundreds of cases from the initial filings up through the time of trial, on diverse matters, including individual and class action employment cases, complex multi-party business disputes, construction defect, and personal injury cases in state and federal courts.
Ms. Buechner also works with a variety of businesses in the e-commerce, technology, restaurant, food, insurance, and service provider industries to protect their interests so they can focus on growth. She provides legal advice and addresses clients’ diverse day-to-day business needs, including the negotiation of business, vendor and employment agreements, preparation of real estate contracts, manufacturing agreements, distribution agreements, and business purchase and sale negotiations. When business disputes occur, Ms. Buechner guides business owners through these disagreements and works to protect their legal interests.
Ms. Buechner is a German native and attended the Free University of Berlin in Berlin, Germany, where she obtained her law degree. She earned her LL.M. in U.S. Legal Studies at Whittier Law School and is licensed to practice law in the states of California and New York. During law school, Ms. Buechner has worked at various law firms and courts in Germany.
Over the last decade, Ms. Buechner has utilized her passion and skills to successfully resolve the litigation matters of her clients and has also provided them with legal consultation to minimize their exposure to potential liability.
Ms. Buechner is a member of the State Bar of California and the New York State Bar and is admitted to practice law in the U.S. District Courts for the Central District of California and for the Southern District of California.

Founding partner, Angela Serranzana, has been representing clients in judicial and administrative proceedings in the areas of employment and labor law since 2005.
She has broad experience working with unions, and individual employers and employees, and has appeared before the California Office of Administrative Hearings, the National Labor Relations Board, the California Labor Commissioner, as well as in proceedings at the trial and appellate levels in state and federal court, and in dispute resolution proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing.
Ms. Serranzana graduated from Northwestern University in 2002 with a B.A. in Political Science, and received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2005. Ms. Serranzana began her legal career in Washington, D.C., practicing bankruptcy and labor law and after she moved to Los Angeles in 2010, she specialized in labor & employment law, as well as education law.
Ms. Serranzana is a member of the State Bar of California and the State Bar of Washington, D.C. and is admitted to practice law in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
